Santa:
That's right. Please don't come ask for a ride on the sleigh, to meet the reindeer, or to see what you got for Christmas.
I don't have time to do those things... as much as I'd like to!
Maggie:
And whatever you do, DON'T CALL 911! Santa REALLY doesn't have time to talk to friendly policeman on Christmas Eve. Just
pull up the covers, put a smile on your face, and know that he's bringing something good you will enjoy in the morning.
Here
are some things kids have told us about Santa's visit on Christmas Eve:
"Well, I know you came last year. There was
reindeer poop on the trampoline."
"P.S. The underwear I found in my stocking last year was NOT appreciated."
"I'll
be fast asleep and won't even feel it if you come upstairs and kiss my cheek."
"I told Mom not to go outside if she hears
you. 'Cause she'll scare you and you might fall off the roof and we don't have insurance."
Maggie:
I should hope so! Now in the middle of the night, you will be sleeping and dreaming of sugarplums, or maybe these days,
talking dolls and video games. Then you might hear something like sleighbells or hooves on the roof. If you do, just put
a smile on your face, pull up the covers, and go back to sleep.
